Innovation Acquisition Services - IAS

History

Innovation is the ability to use knowledge, creativity and experience in technology or management to develop new products, processes or services to cater the market's need and to increase economic value. Furthermore, it includes improving technology, using of technology and technology transfer, and designing industrial and engineering products to create innovation.
National Innovation Agency (NIA) was created as an autonomous organization under the supervision of Ministry of Science and Technology, operation under the policy guidance of a National Innovation Board.

Over the past year, NIA activities have intended to provide fully-efficient innovation management system to promote both technical and financial supports for the development toward innovation-based business. Facing with the globalization of the economy and technology and international change, solely inbounding knowledge from R&D, inventions, and patents is insufficient for NIA to manage innovation at commercial level. As a result, NIA sees the need to ally with outside resources to speed up innovation development. This will in turn increase development of innovation at industrial level.
